From a Simple Observation to a Vital Mission
Our student-led nonprofit began when we noticed an upsetting reality at local pantries: there was almost nothing safe for people with celiac disease or gluten allergies to eat. We saw neighbors struggling and knew we had to step in to provide meals that would nourish without harm.
Today, GF Pantry focuses solely on collecting gluten-free food for those in need. By partnering with local food banks and community leaders, we ensure that safe, reliable options reach every kitchen. We believe that everyone deserves to eat well, regardless of their dietary restrictions.
The Heart of GF Pantry
Right now, GF Pantry is run by one college student who cares a lot about safe, gluten-free food access. This project started as a personal passion and is slowly growing into a community effort.
Foundation & Leadership
Founder | Student-Led Project
GF Pantry was started by a student who saw how hard it is to find safe, gluten-free food at traditional food pantries. For now, they handle everything, from collecting donations to coordinating with food banks, while building the foundation for a future team.
Potential Team
THIS COULD BE YOU!!
As GF Pantry grows, this is where we’ll highlight the volunteers who help sort, pack, and share gluten-free food with our community. If you’d like to be part of the story, we’d love to hear from you.
What We Stand For
Values at Our Core
Our work is guided by these simple yet powerful values, ensuring our student-led project serves every neighbor with genuine care.
Safety First
We maintain strict standards for every item we handle. Your health is our priority, and we ensure all food is truly safe for celiacs.
True Dignity
Everyone deserves to choose food that makes them feel good. We provide a shopping experience rooted in respect and kindness.
Fair Equity
Gluten-free living should never be a privilege for a few. We work to close the gap so that safe nutrition is for everyone.
Total Care
We look out for one another like family. Our pantry is built on a foundation of empathy and a deep desire to help others thrive.
